174 Mr. S. Brennan asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the State bodies under the aegis of his Department that have been specifically asked to comply with the 1994 Public Procurement Booklet; and when each of the State bodies was asked by his Department to comply with the principles contained in the booklet. The following is the position with State bodies under the aegis of my Department in relation to the 1994 Procurement Booklet:—

Coillte Teoranta	The Booklet issued from Department on 13 August 1994.
Bord na gCon	All confirmed that they received copy of the Booklet.
Irish Horseracing Authority
National Stud
Teagasc
An Bord Bia	An Bord Bia was established on 1 December 1994. CBF was dissolved on that date and its functions taken over by An Bord Bia. On 20 July 1994 the Booklet issued to CBF.
An Bord Glas	Are aware of contents of Booklet and further copies are being sent.
National Milk Agency	Established 30 December 1994. There is no record of the booklet being issued to them. This will be done immediately.

No specific instructions were issued to the bodies concerned as it was considered the booklet's introduction adequately conveyed the necessary requirements.
