Vol. 456 No. 5

Adjournment Debate Matters.

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 20 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy O'Rourke — the danger of industrial action referred to by the General Secretary of SIPTU; (2) Deputy Séamus Brennan — the need for a radically different Government policy towards semi-State companies in light of the recent reference by the General Secretary of SIPTU to the danger of industrial action. As these matters are not in order there are no items for a discussion on the Adjournment today.
