Vol. 456 No. 5

Written Answers. - Building Regulations.

Mary Wallace

Question:

75 Miss M. Wallace asked the Minister for the Environment the number of buildings constructed each year which are subject to Part M of the Buildings Regulations, 1991; and the measures, if any, taken by his Department to assemble this information. [14211/95]

In general, all new buildings other than dwellings are required to comply with Part M of the building regulations relating to access for disabled people. There is no information in my Department as to the number of such buildings constructed each year.
