The most recent figures available for the number of participants on Youthreach within the education sector is 1,622. Concerning the VTOS scheme, the vocational education committees recruit for the scheme mainly in September and October each year and information on the current number of participants arising from their recruitment this year is not yet available. The number of participants on the scheme in the earlier part of this year ranged from 4,600 in January to 3,550 in June.
