120 Mrs. T. Ahearn asked the Minister for Education if she will provide the grant due to a school (details supplied) in County Waterford as the project in question is completed; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [14534/95]
In June 1994, my Department agreed to provide grant-aid towards the cost of a single prefabricated classroom at the school referred to by the Deputy. The school decided to build a permanent extension and use the grant-aid to offset the cost. My Department has requested the local Office of Public Works to certify that the work has been completed to a satisfactory standard. On receipt of this certification grant payment will be made.
