89 Mr. Ellis asked the Minister for Equality and Law Reform the names and addresses of all people, other than Members of the Oireachtas and established civil servants, who travelled at the State's expense to the Women's International Conference in Beijing, China. [14636/95]

Other than Members of the Oireachtas and established civil servants the following is the list of people who attended the United Nations Fourth World Conference on Women in Beijing from 4-15 September 1995, as members of the official delegation, at the State's expense:

Ms Maura Murray		National Women's Council of Ireland

It is not appropriate to give the addresses of the individuals concerned.

In addition, my Department assisted the following organisations to send representatives to the NGO Forum and/or the UN Fourth World Conference on Women:

Cork Federation of Women's Organisations.

Irish National Organisation of the Unemployed,

Women of the North-West,

National Traveller Women's Forum,

Forum of People with Disabilities,

Inishowen Women's Network,

Tallaght NOW,

National Youth Council of Ireland,

Women's Aid.

I understand that the Department of Foreign Affairs assisted the following organisations:

UNIFEM Ireland,

Banúlacht,

Dóchas,

Concern Worldwide,

Irish Aid, Tanzania,

Irish Aid, Zimbabwe,

while the Lourdes Youth and Community Services and Earthwatch were assisted by the Departments of Social Welfare and the Environment respectively.
