Vol. 456 No. 7

Written Answers. - Community Support Framework.

Martin Cullen

Question:

100 Mr. Cullen asked the Minister for Education the total funding drawn down in 1995 under the Community Support Framework and the breakdown by operational programme and sub-programme; the total amount of matching Exchequer funds provided by her Department and the breakdown by operational programme and sub-programme; the total amount provided by the private sector and the breakdown by operational programme and sub-programme; and the outturn she expects for 1995 under the above-listed criteria. [14625/95]

Department of Education receipts to date in 1995 in respect of measures aided by the European Social Fund under the Community Support Framework 1994-1999 amount to £77,251,703. Projected outturn for 1995 in respect of measures aided under the CSF 1994-1999 is £116.388 million. The outturn for 1995 is contingent upon delivery of expected aid by the year end and favourable exchange rates.

The breakdown by operational programme and sub-programme is set out in the attached table. Funding is not provided by the private sector in respect of these programmes.

Receipts from the European Regional Development Fund in respect of the Department's capital programme are drawn down by the Department of Finance.
