Question:

137 Mr. E. Walsh asked the Minister for Education the number of primary schools in Dublin south-west; and the number of pupils attending each of these schools for the last five years. [15028/95]

I propose to take Questions Nos. 136 and 137 together.

Data on schools are collected by my Department on an individual school basis and are subsequently compiled on a county, city and national basis. Data on schools are not available by any other geographic area. If the Deputy would care to submit a list of the names and addresses of the schools in which he is interested, my Department will be able to supply him with the enrolment figures he seeks for these schools for the last five years.
