Vol. 457 No. 2

Written Answers. - Diplomatic Relations with Bosnia.

Robert Molloy

Question:

57 Mr. Molloy asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs when the Irish Ambassador designated to Bosnia intends to present his credentials to the President of that country. [15114/95]

Agreement has been reached with the Government of Bosnia-Herzegovina on the establishment of diplomatic relations between our two countries.

The Irish Ambassador to Switzerland has been nominated as Ambassador to Bosnia-Herzegovina on a non-resident basis. Arrangements will be made for him to present his credentials in Sarajevo as soon as is convenient for the Bosnian authorities.
