Adjournment Debate Matters.

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 20 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Kenneally — the need for additional accommodation at Water-park College, Waterford; (2) Deputy McDaid — the current situation regarding Milford Vocational School, County Donegal; (3) Deputy Ó Cuív — the need to address the delay of over four years for people on the out-patient waiting list for assessment for orthopaedic procedures; (4) Deputy Gallagher (Laoighis-Offaly) The serious situation arising from the nurses' decision to take industrial action in hospitals in the Midland Health Board area; (5) Deputy Molloy — the measures being introduced to ensure that proper financial controls are in place in State companies within the remit of the Department of Transport, Energy and Communications; and the action that will be taken where an abuse of public funds occurs; (6) Deputy Joe Walsh — the steps being taken to alleviate the severe flooding of Clonakilty town, County Cork; (7) Deputy McCormack — the reported statement by the EC Commissioner for Regional Affairs that the proposed sewerage treatment plant at Mutton Island, Galway has been rejected by the EC. and (8) Deputy Seán Ryan — the proposals, if any, currently under examination for a second commercial airport at Baldonnel, County Dublin.

The matters raised by (1) Deputies Joe Walsh, Kenneally, McDaid and Molloy have been selected for discussion.
