82 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Health when the Western Health Board will fill a position vacated by a person (details supplied) in the Cystic Fibrosis Unit of Mayo General Hospital in view of the fact that there are 150 patients living in the Western Health Board region and more than one-third attend Mayo General Hospital. [16663/95]

Limerick East): I wish to inform the Deputy that a selection process for the filling of this post is currently under way. The Western Health Board has asked the Local Appointments Commission to recommend a suitable candidate as soon as this process is finalised.
