110 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Education if her Department will liaise with the relevant section in the Department of Justice to provide funding for a comprehensive youth service in the Cherry Orchard area of Dublin 10. [17142/95]
Youth services in Cherry Orchard and in the Dublin City area generally, are administered, on behalf of my Department, mainly through Comhairle le Leas Óige, the youth work sub-committee of the City of Dublin Vocational Education Committee.
Comhairle le Leas Óige has recently been in contact with the Department of Justice with a view to securing, where possible, a co-ordinated approach in order to ensure effective development of youth services at local level.
