Written Answers. - St. Michael's National School Limerick.

Willie O'Dea

Question:

111 Mr. O'Dea asked the Minister for Education when a proposal on behalf of St. Michael's national school. Barrington Street, Limerick, for a grant towards the erection of security fencing will be sanctioned; and her views on whether this proposal should be sanctioned immediately in view of the difficulties being encountered by the school, its staff and pupils due to vandalism. [17152/95]

I am pleased to inform the Deputy that grant aid towards the cost of the erection of security fencing at St. Michael's national school. Barrington Street, Limerick was sanctioned by my Department on 13 November, 1995.
