Vol. 458 No. 8

Written Answers. - Garda Barracks Fencing.

Willie Penrose

Question:

146 Mr. Penrose asked the Minister for Justice when a proper fence will be erected around the Garda Barracks, Ballymore, County Westmeath; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [17703/95]

I am informed by the Garda authorities that they are satisfied that the Garda station at Ballymore is adequately secured.

I further understand that the Office of Public Works have been notified of concerns raised by a neighbouring landowner about the condition of fencing around land which is in State ownership adjacent to the station grounds and that the matter is being examined by them.
