Vol. 458 No. 8

Written Answers. - National Lottery Funds.

Ivor Callely

Question:

71 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Finance if he has satisfied himself with the national lottery moneys that are available for the arts; the percentage of national lottery funds allocated to the arts for each of the years 1990 to 1994; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [17794/95]

I am satisfied that the arts receive their fair share of national lottery moneys. For presentation purposes, it has been the practice to combine the categories of arts, culture and national heritage. The allocations for arts/culture/national heritage over the years 1990 to 1994 were as follows:—
