250 Dr. McDaid asked the Minister for the Environment if he will make a statement on the Border road between Cannings Lane and Coney Road which still remains closed; and the reason for the delay in opening this road. [19378/96]
Donegal County Council completed the reopening of the portion of the road in question on the southern side of the Border in early 1995. I understand from the council that there is a dispute regarding the ownership of a short stretch of road on the northern side of the Border. This has resulted in delay in reopening the road as a whole.
