73 Mr. M. Smith asked the Taoiseach if he will approve a grant to St. Mary's Famine Museum in Thurles, County Tipperary. [19084/95]

I have agreed to make payment of the £1,000 towards St. Mary's Famine Museum in Thurles, County Tipperary, for the restoration of St. Mary's Famine Graveyard, Thurles, and have also agreed to make payments of £1,000 each towards the renovation of the Famine Graveyards named below, as a mark of respect for those who died in that great tragedy.

2. Friar's Bush Cemetery, Stranmillis Road, Belfast.

3. Famine Graveyard, Teampaillin Ban, Listowel, County Kerry.

4. Carr's Hill Cemetery, Cork.

5. Famine Graveyard, Carrick-onShannon, County Leitrim.

6. Famine Burial Ground, Tuamgraney, County Clare.

7. Famine Cemetery, St. Joseph's Hospital, Longford, County Longford.

8. Famine Graveyard, Dingle Workhouse, County Kerry.

9. Famine Graveyard, Donegal Town.
