The allocation in subhead A5 of Vote 1 is the estimate of the sum required in 1996 to meet the cost of stationery, office requisites, office equipment (photocopiers, facsimile machines, computers, etc) and maintenance/service of same, staff training in the use of information technology and other miscellaneous expenses.

The allocation under subhead F3 of Vote 10 covers rent payments in respect of leased accommodation for Government Departments and offices and also meets the financial commitments under the decentralisation programme.
