139 Mr. B. Smith asked the Minister for Arts, Culture and the Gaeltacht the total funding provided in the 1996 Estimates for inland waterways development; the projects that will benefit from such funding; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1884/96]

I refer the Deputy to my reply to Question No. 215 of 23 January 1996 which provided, inter alia, the details sought in relation to the financial allocation for the waterways service for 1996 and the projects to be funded during the year.
