Written Answers. - Safety at Sports Grounds.
The Minister of State at my Department recently announced the publication of a code of practice for safety at sports grounds which provide guidelines in assessing how patrons can be accommodated safely within sports grounds. The objective of the code is to give guidance to stadia management, local authorities, the Garda, health boards, voluntary health organisations and technical and professional specialists.
I have arranged to send a copy of the code to the Deputy for his information.
