195 Mr. Deasy asked the Minister for Education the current position regarding the provision of funding for the refurbishment of sections of the De La Salle College, Waterford in view of its current accommodation difficulties. [1975/96]
As a result of a meeting held between the school authority and the Department's senior inspector, the school has submitted a revised proposal to provide specialist teaching facilities, the details of which are currently being examined.
It is hoped to hold a planning and briefing meeting as soon as possible with the Department's building unit officials, the school authorities and its design team to discuss the development of the proposed project.
