Vol. 461 No. 1

Written Answers - County Mayo Commonage.

Michael Ring

Question:

170 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Justice whether a person (details supplied) in County Mayo is the registered owner of a commonage. [2307/96]

I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that the references furnished do not relate to the Land Registry and are insufficient to trace the property in question. The Registrar suggests that if the property can be identified on a map, the Land Registry map record could be inspected by the applicant or his solicitor, or a formal map search could be carried out by the Land Registry on payment of the prescribed fee as set out in the Land Registration Fees Order, 1991.
