223 Mr. D. Ahern asked the Minister for Social Welfare the amount of foreign trips made by him during 1995; the destination, purpose and duration of these trips; whether or not the Government jet or scheduled flights were used; the identity and the designation of those who travelled with him; the number, purpose and duration of each meeting attended by him on these foreign trips; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The details requested by the Deputy are set out in the following table. The table does not include details of official visits to Northern Ireland which are usually made in the company of the Tánaiste and the Minister for Justice.
