249 Mrs. T. Ahearn asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the number of applicants for REP scheme from south County Tipperary; the total value of payments; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [2491/96]

The number of REPS applicants to date from County Tipperary (South Riding) is 409. The total value of payments made is £1.324 million.
