258 Mr. J. Walsh asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry if he will have arrangements made to issue payment under the REP scheme to a person (details supplied) in County Cork who was approved on 1 November 1995. [2636/96]
The application and agri-environment plan of the person concerned were the subject of a detailed pre-payment examination and on-farm inspection. The application was found not to meet the Department's specifications for the scheme and accordingly returned to the applicant pointing out the deficiencies therein. It is open to the applicant to have the plan revised to ensure that it conforms with the specifications and then reapply.
