Written Answers - Dundalk (Louth) Main Drainage Schemes.

105 Mr. D. Ahern asked the Minister for the Environment the timescale for completion of the proposed Dundalk, County Louth main drainage and sewerage scheme; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [2294/96]

It is expected that construction of the Dundalk main drainage scheme will start later this year and that all works will be completed by 1999.

It is expected that work on the construction of the Drogheda main drainage scheme will start later this year and that all works will be completed by 1999.

107 Mr. D. Ahern asked the Minister for the Environment the timescale for completion of the proposed Carlingford main drainage and sewerage scheme, County Louth; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [2296/96]

This scheme is included in the water and sewerage programme 1996, which I recently announced. It is expected to proceed to construction in 1996 and to be completed in 1997.
