135 Mr. B. Smith asked the Minister for Education if the review of the operation of outdoor education centres has been completed; if so, the outcome of this review; if she will give formal recognition at an early date to Tanagh Outdoor Education Centre, County Monaghan; and if she will make a statement on the matter. The review of the operation of the outdoor education centres has not yet been undertaken as my Department has been considering the most effective method of carrying out this task. It has now been decided that a special committee will be established to carry out this review. It is expected that the final arrangements for the appointment of a committee will shortly be completed. Pending the outcome of this review, I am not in a position to give formal recognition to Tanagh Outdoor Education Centre.
