133 Mrs. O'Rourke asked the Minister for Justice the number of gardaí throughout the country who are engaged in clerical/administrative/nonfull-time regular garda duties; and if she will give a breakdown of these numbers district by district. [3476/96]
I am informed by the Garda authorities that there are approximately 400 gardaí engaged full-time on clerical/ administrative duties at any one time. Details of the distribution of these posts are being compiled at present and will be forwarded to the Deputy when the information is to hand.
