Wider Departments
Three cleaners each in receipt of a salary of £179.36 per week and two services attendants each in receipt of a salary of £196.51 per week have been employed.
Temporary telephonists are engaged on an occasional basis to provide cover when the permanent telephonists of the Department are on extended leave. The remuneration of such telephonists is currently at the rate of £211.61 per week.
One clerical assistant, who was recruited through a competition organised by the Civil Service Commission, but appointed in an unestablished capacity, has been employed within my Department at a salary of £168.89 per week. Four students have been employed on temporary six-month work experience placements, two were in receipt of a salary of £9,422 per annum and two were in receipt of a salary of £9,610 per annum.
Ms Eimear Dolan, a specialist in European Union initiatives, was employed on a six-month contract at a salary of £22,258 per annum.
