Question:

111 Mr. Clohessy asked the Minister for Education the reason no representative of a Northern Ireland University has been appointed to the Governing Board of the School of Cosmic Physics. [3452/96]

I propose to take Questions Nos. 109, 110 and 111 together.

The governing boards of the School of Celtic Studies, the School of Theoretical Physics and the School of Cosmic Physics were appointed in accordance with their respective establishment orders. The statutory obligations have been adhered to in each school. These do not stipulate any obligation to provide representation for any particular institution.
