169 Mr. Nolan asked the Minister for the Environment the length of national roads in each county; the percentage increase in the national road allocation for 1995; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [3543/96]
The extent of the network of national roads in each county and county borough is set out in the following table. In 1996, £222.57 million is being provided by the Exchequer to the National Roads Authority for the improvement and maintenance of national roads; this is an increase of 3 per cent over the 1995 provision.
