Written Answers. - School Building Projects.
In March 1995, I approved 77 projects for inclusion in a building programme.
One of the projects has been completed. The position in respect of the other projects is that they are advancing through the various stages of the planning process. That process, from project identification to enrolment projection, examination of amalgamation possibilities, site acquisition, project planning, construction and completion takes two or three years in most cases. The decisions taken by me in March 1995 should be seen therefore as the beginning of the process.
