Vol. 461 No. 7

Written Answers. - Hospital Admission.

Seamus Brennan

Question:

141 Mr. S. Brennan asked the Minister for Health when a person (details supplied) in Dublin 14, a patient in a general hospital, who has been assessed as a maximum dependent patient can expect to gain admission to long-term geriatric hospital care, in view of the fact that she is unable to secure full time family care. [3677/96]

Limerick East): As the Deputy is aware the provision of long-stay care in the Dublin area is a matter for the Eastern Health Board. I am having the case raised by the Deputy investigated and I will write separately to the Deputy with the findings.
