Vol. 462 No. 2

Written Answers. - Motoring Schools Associations.

Mary Harney

Question:

134 Miss Harney asked the Minister for the Environment whether he has satisfied himself that each of the motoring schools associations has been treated fairly in the recent discussions he has had with them; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [4536/96]

The meeting I had with representatives of the two national associations of motor schools and driving instructors in July last and my more recent informal discussion with the chairman of the Driving Instructor Register were constructive and useful. I am, of course, satisfied that the associations were treated fairly by me in these discussions.
