146 Ms F. Fitzgerald asked the Minister for Education if she will meet the Dublin Schools Business Partnership Limited to discuss its proposal to increase the participation of inner city young people from disadvantaged background in higher education. [4221/96]
The proposal from Dublin Schools Business Partnership Limited is at present being considered in my Department in the context of implementation of the White Paper proposals in the area of equality of access to third level education and decisions to be taken on the report of the Steering Committee on the Future of Higher Education. My Department will be in contact with the partnership as soon as possible to discuss its proposals, and a meeting will then be arranged with myself or officials as appropriate.
