237 Mr. Kirk asked the Minister for Enterprise and Employment if he will introduce an employers' incentive scheme for third-level students who are not eligible for the students summer jobs scheme; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [4548/96]

I am not persuaded of the need for an incentive scheme of the nature referred to by the Deputy and in any event resource constraints would rule out such a proposal.
