64 Mr. D. Ahern asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs the foreign trips undertaken by him during 1995, including the time and date of exit from and return to this country; the mode of transport; the purpose of each trip; the persons who travelled with him; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs (Mr. Spring)

During 1995, in the discharge of my official duties as Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs I fulfilled 17 fixed European Union ministerial commitments and ten Anglo-Irish related ministerial commitments overseas. I have also fulfilled ministerial commitments in relation to the Stability Pact Conference, Non-Proliferation Treaty Conference, UN General Assembly, the White House Economic Conference, Western European Union ministerial meetings, the Bosnia Pledging Conference and the Dayton Signing Ceremony. I have also undertaken official visits to the European Parliament, the Middle East and Finland. Following is a tabular statement giving the details requested by the Deputy.
