Vol. 462 No. 2

Written Answers. - Pre-school Playgroups Association's Submission.

Liam Aylward

Question:

87 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for Health when a revised proposal submitted to the South Eastern Health Board some weeks ago by the Irish Pre-School Playgroups Association was received by the board; and the reason he indicated to Deputy Mr. Aylward in his reply to his parliamentary question of 13 February 1996 that this proposal is awaited. [4224/96]

The South-Eastern Health Board inform me that, in a letter dated 11 December 1995, they requested the Irish Pre-School Playgroups Association to submit a revised submission in relation to pre-school arrangements for 1996. While the board subsequently received a letter, dated 12 December last, from the association this was not the revised proposal sought and related to a number of other issues raised at that time by the health board. The South-Eastern Health Board is still awaiting the revised proposal requested.
