Vol. 462 No. 2

Written Answers. - Disabled Person's Maintenance Allowance.

Mary O'Rourke

Question:

91 Mrs. O'Rourke asked the Minister for Health if he will have arrangements made for the disabled person's maintenance allowance entitlements of a person (details supplied) in County Roscommon to be reviewed in view of the fact that payments to this person have been decreased. [4404/96]

Limerick East): Payment of disabled person's maintenance allowance in any individual case is a matter for the health board concerned. Accordingly, the Deputy's question has been referred to the chief executive officer of the Western Health Board with a request that he examine the matter and reply directly to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
