Question:122 Mr. Crowley asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry if he will ensure that the United Farmers Association are represented at any forum or included in discussions regarding the eradication of TB. [4567/96]
Written Answers. - TB Eradication.
It is proposed to establish a national forum to advise and make recommendations on the operation of the proposed new arrangements for the disease eradication schemes. The composition of this forum has not been finally decided. However, it is likely that farmer representation will be confined to those bodies which are represented on the Central Review Committee. Officials of my Department will be available to meet other organisations from time to time.
