Written Answers. - Work-Sharing Proposals.
Work is nearing completion in my Department on the preparation of proposals relating to work sharing in both the public and private sector. The purpose of these proposals, if adopted, will be to encourage a greater take-up of work sharing options in both sectors. It is my intention, and that of the Minister of State responsible for labour affairs, that the proposals will be submitted to Government by the end of April this year.
