Vol. 462 No. 3

Written Answers. - Ramsgrange (Wexford) Community School.

Hugh Byrne

Question:

74 Mr. H. Byrne asked the Minister for Education if her attention has been drawn to the difficulties with Ramsgrange community school, County Wexford, regarding the non-functional extractors in the metalwork room; the plans, if any, she has to re-open the room to classes; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [4585/96]

I am aware of the conditions at Ramsgrange community school in particular those relating to the metalwork room.

The condition of the metalwork room is being examined by the building unit of my Department and it is hoped that the matter will be remedied as expeditiously as possible.
