Given the high level of commitments under the water and sewerage programme, I cannot say when it may be possible to approve the preliminary report for this scheme.

An application for the Erne Catchment Water Management Scheme, which includes the Cootehill sewerage scheme, has been submitted to the European Commission for Cohesion Fund assistance. Pending the Commission's decision, and having regard to the existing level of commitments under the water and sewerage programme, I cannot say when it may be possible to advance this scheme.
