Vol. 463 No. 5

Written Answers. - Departmental Land.

Tony Gregory

Question:

79 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Health the unused land in the ownership of his Department at the Navan Road, Dublin 7; if he will have arrangements made to have the land cleared of dumped material and the breaches in the perimeter fencing repaired; the purpose for which this land is being held by his Department; and when it is proposed to develop or dispose of this land. [6826/96]

Limerick East): Arrangements are in train between my Department and the Office of the Chief State Solicitor for the sale on the open market of approximately seven acres of lands at Cabra in the ownership of my Department. It is hoped that this sale will proceed in the near future but it is not possible to give an exact date for the disposal as legal technicalities in relation to the title are still in the process of being resolved. My Department is in communication with the Office of Public Works concerning the securing of the site.
