90 Mr. B. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Education the concerns, if any, she has that the number of places available on the Bachelor of Business Studies course at Cork Regional Technical College does not meet student demand; the actions, if any, she proposes to take regarding this matter. [6244/96]
The provision of additional places on the course in question is a matter in the first instance for the Regional Technical College, Cork, and the college has to date made no proposals to my Department in the matter. It is understood from the college that the issue is being addressed in the context of the programmes and budget for the coming year which are expected to be submitted to my Department shortly. These will be considered fully when received in the Department.
