104 Mr. Hughes asked the Minister for Education if he will give sanction to the preparation of drawings and tender documents in respect of a school (details supplied) in County Mayo in order that there will be no delay in the commencement of building works on the site; and if she will make a statement on the matter. The drawings have been prepared and were forwarded to the authorities of the school in question on 28 February 1996. The next step is for the school to apply for planning permission. When this is obtained, the question of the preparation of tender documents will be addressed.
