22 Miss Quill asked the Minister for Justice the status of the Garda investigation into the armed robbery of a Securicor premises in Waterford in January of 1996; the arrests, if any, made regarding this robbery; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [7078/96]

It is not the practice for the Minister for Justice to make statements to the House about the progress or detail of individual Garda investigations.

All I propose to say in the case is that I have been informed by the Garda authorities that their investigation is ongoing.
