Question:74 Dr. O'Hanlon asked the Minister for Health if he has prepared a national alcohol policy; and if so, when he intends to publish it. [7437/96]
I intend to take Questions Nos. 65 and 74 together.
A draft proposal for a national policy on alcohol is being prepared for submission to Government. It takes into account the results of a consultative process undertaken in recent years as well as current issues with regard to alcohol policies, including a number of studies undertaken by the World Health Organisation.
