Vol. 464 No. 8

Written Answers. - Dublin Crime Level.

Ivor Callely

Question:

58 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Justice her views on the comments that Dublin is perceived to be a blackspot in view of the upsurge in vicious crime and murders; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [8933/96]

I share the Deputy's concern about these killings and other vicious crimes and assure him that the Garda authorities are deploying maximum resources not only to halt such crimes but to apprehend and bring to justice the perpetrators.
