Question:128 Mr. O'Leary asked the Minister for the Environment when he intends to approve the plans by Kerry County Council for the proposed new reservoir at Gullane, Gneeveguilla, Rathmore, County Kerry. [9306/96]

This reservoir forms part of the overall Firies/Scartaglin regional water supply scheme, southern section, the contract documents for which are currently with my Department. Given the existing level of commitments under the water and sewerage programme, I cannot say when it may be possible to advance the scheme.
